Cynthia Rothrock in one of her last Hong Kong action films that unfortunately shares similar problems with City Cops.
The plot is so flimsy even with an A/B story that is resolved in the end that it’s not worth talking about because even the movie abandons it around the 2nd act. The action sells the movie. Now this time around in 1080p there’s a lot of times I said, “hey, is she on wires here?” Nonetheless, I was satisfied. (Note: I didn’t realize, but in the majority of her HK films, she does at least 1 scene in a full length dress with spats underneath. Curious as to why, but makes it even more impressive.) At this point I’m going to continue to be on the lookout for the rest of her HK films. That’s be a nice YouTube supercut by the way… an hour of Cynthia Rothrock fight scenes…
Decided to support Vinegar Syndrome with this purchase off of Amazon. Not fully worth the price of admission but entertaining enough given a “lazy Sunday”.
