A hilarious film noir homage by David Lynch, highlighting the absurdity of interrogation between criminals and detectives originating from different cultural backgrounds.
Includes all of the film noir tropes (femme fatale, murder) and all of David Lynch’s tropes (dreams made reality, simple direct conversation, gambling). The twist is that Jack is a talking anthropomorphic monkey.
One of the best short films I’ve screened.
