This is not deserving of being on Best of the Worst.

Cynthia Rothrock stars as a homely waitress with a side-gig street fighting. Another street fighter has severe mental problems, turns into a serial killer and murders her sister. Now, she wants revenge.

Most of my problems w/ the film comes from the EXTREME lack of budget. Almost appears to be worse than Martial Law. Color grading issues, audio issues, and costumes straight from K-Mart. I also noted a cell phone used. Not a car phone. Did they have those back then? Odd budgetary choice.

Unlike Martial Law, the film uses more of Rothrock’s athleticism, but she’s actually outshined this time around by John Miller who looks like Axel Stone from Streets of Rage (or Cody from Final Fight).

Now that I think about it, there’s a lot of inspiration from Streets of Rage which was released in 1991 (Rothrock could be Blaze Fielding). Undefeatable was released in 1993.

Ultimately, it’s a bad movie, but not a B-movie.

First screening August 20, 2022 on Amazon via Freevee.
P.S. Freevee sucks, the ads are worse than Hulu and YouTube because you don’t know how long they last.
