The Last Vampire on Earth, D

To preface this review, I’ve seen the Red Letter Media review of this movie around 15 times now. It’s not as bad as it appears. Two biggest issues: Vitaliy Versace is a horrible director, and the technical aspects of the movie are dogshit.

The actors are trying. The plotline and script are respectable. However, you have to properly direct your actors to deliver the lines as you imagined. The main stars have this brooding look all the time, as if they’d rather be anywhere else but in front of a camera. Unfortunately, this film ruined any chance they would have at a film career.

For some reason the colors are all washed out. The aspect ratio also seems fucked up, like it was shot in PAL 720p and expanded to NTSC 1090p. This makes some of the picture … “fuzzy” for lack of better words. So as a result, my overall enjoyment of the movie deteriorated and I’m sure other’s will have the same problem.

First viewing June 19, 2022 on Youtube. The film is also available on Tubi.
