I watched this series in a single week in November 2020. First exposure to actress Elizabeth Debicki who plays Anna Macy, primary character of the show. She’s been in a lot of media including Tenet, which will be reviewed shortly.

The themes of duality, doppelgangers and extraterrestrial interference give reminders of the best parts of The X-Files and Twin Peaks. Episodes are pretty linear after the first two, establishing Anna’s quirks, but leave out filler or monster of the week episodes. Lot to address here without spoiling anything, the series is only one season long, but was intended to run three seasons. As a result, the story ends on a cliffhanger with multiple unresolved plot points. Unfortunate, but I still consider it on par with Fringe and The Expanse even if people are ignoring The Kettering Incident.

Second screening over 2 weeks in October 2021. Grade maintains.
