Recommended by a co-worker. Since the story centers around a nuclear family unit there’s not much gore. It’s needed. Looks like the same house from American Horry Story 1 or Hellraiser.
Also have to call out the weird focus on the daughter going through puberty, that’s some weird 80s jailbait shit. Showing her taking a shower half-nude, and walking around in bra and panties is kind of sleezy.
Overall, imagine a National Lampoon movie with a low budget and bad acting. With RedLetterMedia featuring National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation 2 on a Best of the Worst, Saturday the 14th could eventually get some B-movie love there.
