Second screen adaptation of a Robert Kirkman comic after The Walking Dead, is this superhero animation.
Unfortunately Amazon provided a limited budget, spending the bulk of it in the first two episodes. The drastic change of pace and quality after the first two episodes is reminiscent of Seasons 1–4 of X-Men: The Animated Series (American production) compared to Season 5 (Philippine production). In addition, even though I’ve never read the comic, there are multiple reports of rewrites from the original comic to bring the series up-to-date (adding LGBT characters, changing the story structure).
All combined, this leaves me to only recommend the first two episodes and the last two episodes, and that does not make a good series. Hopefully Season 2 fixes these issues.
